Last November, we announced our measurement integration with Pinterest’s Promoted App Pins in beta. In case you missed it, Promoted App Pins allow marketers to drive app installs directly from Pinterest and target by keyword, interest, and audience “actalikes.” Pinterest has a varied user base with a wide range of interests such as fashion, design, travel, health, and personal finance.
Promoted App Pins are now officially available to all advertisers. Any mobile marketer can leverage this unique ad product and measure campaign performance with TUNE.
“We’ve been using Pinterest’s Promoted App Pins to acquire new users for our FreePrints photo app. The ad unit looks great and our app is a natural fit for Pinterest users interested in photography and design.”
– Mobile Marketing Team at PlanetArt
The Pinterest integration with TUNE is set up to pass information like campaign, ad creative, and adgroup, which makes it easy to optimize and evaluate performance on a more granular level. Pinterest’s ad server can also predict and target Pinners who are more likely to install your app.
If you’re an advertiser interested in running a Promoted App Pin campaign, visit the Pinterest Ads manager or contact a Pinterest Marketing Partner.
